PERUGIA
Perugia, from the top of his hill, dominate all the surrounding area with valleys and hills linked together from good roads, the same that connect the city to his country and to his outskirts. From the city outskirts have developed, from the 60s, varied industrial activity: alimentary and textile most important. The city of Perugia, and the other nearby towns, have a Medieval town building: until the 19 century,there won't be any alteration of form and what we could see today is still a block of austere buildings and houses, connected between them from arcs that cross steep and narrow streets. There are lots of itineraries that a tourist could chooses after the visit of the city, and the most important are without doubt those that conduct to the important archaeological Etruscan sites : The hypogean of Volumni , of Saint Manno of Villa of the Sperandio and the necropolis of Strozzacapponi. Perugia is rich of testimonies of the ancient civilizations: Italic, Etruscan and Roman. The overshadowing Etruscan walls and the Etruscan Arc; the small temle of S.Angelo Door, an unique trace of Byzantine architecture. The Medieval aspect is dominant: the Medieval Doors, the Priori Palace, The Colleges of the Arts, The great Fountain, The Paolina Fortress.
